So she saved that particular dog, but funnelled money into that system. W/, yeah, an impulse buy. Sadly not a unique story. :(

I know a lot of folks here get dogs fr. pet stores b/c then they can have dogs when the landlord forbids it, b/c the pet store will sell to anyone w/money. But of course what happens if/when they get caught & the landlord demands the dog goes? The dog ends up on Craigslist, @ the city kill shelter, or on the street. Or v. v. v. rarely the person will move to a place that will allow dogs.
