That sounds promising! I do want to check out the rest of the series.
But yeah, I hate the men-only shapechanger thing, or its close cousin, female werewolves can't have babies (b/c the babies would never survive the mother's shifts during pregnancy) or female werewolves can only be made, not born, blah blah.
